Brenda Turner started Hurst Farm 30 years ago. In her earlier years she enjoyed every discipline of riding, competing at show jumping and eventing before turning to pure dressage.
She is an experienced teacher and trainer at all levels from novice to advanced, enjoys training her horse at home, competing these days more for fun. She could not run the yard without her husband Roger who has built every part of it, and is constantly maintaining and improving all facilities.
Also at Hurst Farm is Brenda's daughter, Mrs Jo Wood. Jo has represented Great Britain at home and abroad at Grand Prix level. She now has a lovely younger horse, whom we have great hopes for the future at the higher levels. She loves to get out and about competing and helping clients with horses at all levels. As well as training horses and riders at home, Jo is able to freelance.

Brenda and Jo train with David Hunt who comes weekly to the yard.
